Many patients continue to have excellent eyesight as they grow older. Growing older doesn’t mean that you’ll necessarily have bad vision, but it is a time where regular eye check-ups are more important than ever. Many sight threatening problems are silent and painless.

Common issues that can arise as we age can be something as simply as dry eye, or as complicated as Age-Related Macular Degeneration ARMD. Other very common problems are cataracts and flashes and floaters.

To help prevent long-term eye problems, make sure that you schedule a complete eye exam at least once a year.
